SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider position designed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, status sassa that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
